I work from home, from a dark alcove in a small room with little light. I personally hate the dark winter days and they affect my mood massively. I bought this to see if I could brighten my alcove. I put it on the wall beside me and it immediately made me feel better. I was so pleased that I bought a second one for the opposite wall. They're both just hanging from a nail, they are lightweight and very easy to adjust the settings. By the way, if you want it to stay on continuously rather than any of the other time settings, you can achieve that by hitting the clock button and keep pressing until none of the preset timers are lit up.
